The above information, as well as that contained in the two previous articles, has been gleaned from the Jubilee Address delivered by Bro. Arthur at the Jubilee Banquet.

In conclusion, Bro. Arthur stated:

"The advance from the Bank has been repaid; the building is in a thorough state of repair and our funds are in a prosperous condition. By the help of the G. A. O. T. U., we have every reason to be thankful for the propitious circumstances under which we celebrate this, our Jubilee. But brethren, let us beware that our prosperity does not cause us to be weary in well doing." Having accomplished so much, let us continue to act in the living present "for those who may follow us, in the hope that those who celebrate may have equal cause for self-congratulation, and praise for those who have gone before."

Principal events since the Golden Jubilee may be summarised as follows: 1897, Jubilee Lodge of Instruction attached to Zetland Lodge; 1908, visit of His Royal Highness, the Duke of Connaught; 1922, incorporation of the Zetland Hall Trustees.

During the past three days I have devoted considerable space to the history of the Zetland Lodge, senior body of Freemasons in the Colony.

To-day I propose to reproduce a chronological table, showing the principal events in the history of the various Lodges of Hongkong and South China. This table is contained in the Masonic Calendar and Year Book for 1933-34, and while it may be familiar to most Masons in the Colony, should nevertheless be of interest to many non-members of the craft.
